As a GenAI Engineer - Associate you will apply data, algorithms, and software engineering to build and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that support client needs. As an Associate you will focus on learning, adapting to varied project demands, contributing to team delivery, and building your technical skills while working within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. In this role at PwC, you will support system design, data preparation, model implementation, and solution testing across a range of GenAI work, while developing your understanding of how scalable AI platforms can translate data into actionable insights and practical business value.
Responsibilities
- Building and deploying AI and machine learning solutions that transform raw data into usable insights for client needs
- Designing data wrangling workflows and preprocessing pipelines to prepare structured and unstructured data for model development
- Applying Python, machine learning libraries, and programming languages to develop, test, and refine AI components
- Supporting data integration, modeling, and pipeline development across cloud-based analytics and engineering environments
- Implementing natural language processing, text analytics, and pattern recognition methods to address business use cases
- Validating data quality and model inputs by gathering information from multiple sources and interpreting patterns in the results
- Contributing to AI-human collaboration efforts by adapting solutions to different client contexts and technical requirements
- Learning new tools, methods, and technical standards while taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering reliable work
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 - 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Computer Science/Information Systems, Engineering
- At least one of the following: Certifications aligned to data engineering, machine learning, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or related data and AI credentials
- Demonstrating academic projects in Python, machine learning, or NLP
- Applying curiosity to generative AI, data pipelines, and model evaluation
- Supporting client-facing teams through clear communication and active listening
- Adapting quickly across changing priorities, tools, and delivery needs
