What you'll do
- Build and launch AI features with language models, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design and agent frameworks

What you bring
- At least five years in software development, AI, machine learning or a related technical discipline
- Practical experience building with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph
- Professional delivery experience with AI coding assistants, plus the ability to assess and secure their output
- Commercial Azure experience, use of GitHub and Azure DevOps across the software lifecycle, and Agile delivery experience
- Strong Python programming skills

At Winning Consulting, we are looking for an AI Engineer to join a project for one of our international clients in the insurance sector, based in Madrid.

Responsabilities:
- Design, build and productionise AI -enabled features and services using large language model, RAG, prompt engineering and agent frameworks/ orccestasion (such as LangChain, LangGraph or Semantic Kernel).
- Take AI solutions beyond prototype, owning evaluation, testing, guardrails, observability, security and cost managment.
- Rapdly prototype and validate ideas, turning concepts into working sofware withing days and proving out how to build the solution properly at scale.
- Direct AI coding assistants and agentic workflows (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) alongsinde your own hand-on expertise, and rigorously review both human-written and AI-genereated code against our architectural, development and security standards.
- Drive adoption of AI agent-led delivery across the team, coaching others in effective and responsible use of AI tooling so the capability spreads.
- Track AI and agentic technology trends outside the organisation and apply them pragmatically to our products, whilst developing deep domain knowledge.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Practical experience building with AI and agentic technologies: LLM, RAG, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks/ orchestation (LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel).
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in a professional delivery setting, and the ability to critically review, validate and secure the code they produce.
- Hands-on commercial experience in Azure cloud, using GitHub and Azure DevOps, across all phases of the SDLC and Agile delivery
- Good programming skills in Python.
